Summer School

So to make everything work so I can graduate in the Spring I have to take a summer class. It is PSYCH1010. I finished my second assignment and my first test today. I didn't do too bad. I scored and 88%, I only missed six questions. I wasn't too bummed. I figured that would be roundabout my score considering that was what I got on each of the chapter assessment in the book (not the assignments).

Well at the end of chapter one there is a "Personal Application" section that talks about improving academic performance. It talks about reading retention, study skills, and test taking methods; things like that. Well I kind just did what I always do but when it got to the test taking part I kind of paid more attention to the outcome of things. In my Psych book it claims that when people go back to change answers on multiple choice tests "wrong to right" changes are most common. So without talking about any details of the questions (because the deadline for the test hasn't past yet-that is also why I am talking about this here, and not on the class discussion board) here is the break down.
The test was 50 multiple choice questions.
Of the 50 questions I marked 11 that I wanted to revisit before submitting the test
Of the 11 I changed 5 answers and left 6 the way I initially answered.
Of 50 I actually missed 6.
Of the 6 I missed 5 were on my revisit list (the sixth was that I mis-read the question)
Of the 5 on my list 3 were changed answers 2 were left alone.
On all 3 I made "right to wrong" changes (how's that for a psych out)

So just to clarify. I had 12 issues. 1 I was not aware until after the test. 4 were not really problems I was just doubtful of my ability to recall information. 2 were legitimate problems that needed attention ( I made 2 "wrong to right" changes) 3 were not really problems, I made them problems when I made "right to wrong" changes. And lastly there were 2 more legitimate problems that I should have paid more attention to so they wouldn't be a problem.

I think that was a really long way of saying I think I psyched myself out on a few questions. Hopefully I only go up from here :)
