USANA Concert!!!!

I had an amazing time last night. I went to the Kenny Chesney concert with my cousin (it was her birthday last month, and she wanted to go to Kenny for her present-so we set it up) and her mom. I went in liking Kenny, but I left a serious fan. It was at the Usana Amphitheatre, and he came with Dierks Bentley and Carrie Underwood, which made it a bonus. I have a lot I want to say about the concert, so I am going to break it down into sections so it is a little easier to follow. If anyone has the chance to see Kenny in concert, I recommend you do it 'cause he is an awesome entertainer, and if anyone has the chance to see a concert at Usana do it! I have never been to an outdoor concert that was that enjoyable. Everyone was great and it was laid back, the weather was perfect, the sun is behind you there is plenty of room. It was the most fun I have had it while. I will warn about parking though. Getting in was great cause we were early, but we sat in the parking lot for like 45 mins after the concert, trying to get out. And we got a pretty racy after show from the guys and gals in the white Dodge Truck in front of us (I hope the couple in the cab were "being safe"), and the drunks trying to find their respective vehicles. Next time I'll pay for premium parking.

MIX OF EMOTIONS
Now before I go on I have to reiterate, I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Kenny Concert. But I did have my down moments. It seems that as of late I have been considering any (ANY) outing as an opportunity to meet a guy...now doesn't seem like all that bad of an idea, 'cause it isn't, but I make it mean so much, that is hurts when it doesn't happen. I took my aunt and my cousin with me, and they were pretty tight, kind of hanging out and talking and having fun. Which is great because it this was suppose to be a birthday present for my cousin. But I had moments when I was feeling really alone. I looked around me and all I could see were couples, and people having fun. It did make me sad. I wanted so badly for one of these guys behind to talk to me, or ask me to dance or something. It is funny how sometimes you can be in a very crowded place and feel all alone. It wasn't until Kenny actually came on that I started to really not care.

DIERKS BENTLEY!!!
The night started with Carrie Underwood. I was shocked that she was only on for like 20 mins. She was good, but I didn't know all her songs. After Carrie, Dierks Bentley came on. This was the guy I wanted to see, badly!!! I gave my ticket away last year when he was at the state fair (surprisingly enough, it was another birthday thing). So I was really excited to see him. I love his music. He is amazing. He gets so into it. And he acts so happy to be there. Lets not forget the fact that he is amazingly sexy :) I was a little disappointed that the screens weren't up and running for his part of the concert because he was so small from where I was sitting, but hey, he still sounded like a guy I would go to bed with. Is that sad? But at least I am being honest.

I have to say my favorite "db" song is "My Last Name." It is a beautiful song, and him and his band "blue grassed" it out a little bit. I was really sweet sounding. I also have to say he mentioned that "Settle For A Slow Down" was his favorite song he's recorded. I wonder why. It is a wonderful song I love it, I just want to know why he does. I would definitely see him again. I hope he comes back next year.

KENNY CHESNEY!!!

I went to this concert liking Kenny Chesney, and left this concert a serious KC fan!!! I know understand why Kenny has won entertainer of the year. I will admit that I wondered if is act was a little formulaic but he so gets into with the audience, he just seems to be out there to have a good time, and make sure that everyone there does too. He started out, out in the audience which is always fun, and he had these big screens up on the stage which made it easier for everyone to see and enjoy. Uncle Cracker was there with him, and they did a few a songs. He brought Carrie back out on stage and he brought during a song. He also had Dierks come back out on stage for bit too. It was really nice.

There was one point in the concert, I think it was during the encore that I think he actually got a little broken up. Now maybe it was a part of the act maybe he really felt it, but I thought it was sweet either way. It was nice to think that he genuinely appreciated us being there. I can't wait for him to come back here again.

THE GUYS BEHIND ME
There were these guys sitting behind me, well kind of behind me and to the right. Two guys that came together, they didn't have blanket with them, and they were way quiet. They hardly talked to one another, they seldom sang along, and they didn't really dance. Now after saying all that I have to say they were really cute. I kept looking back at them hoping to get at least one of their attentions. It didn't seem to work, because, well, they jetted right after, without ever saying a word to me. I kind of feel like I missed my chance. I am hardly ever the one to make the first move, but I think I should have. Another missed opportunity. :( But that's okay.

LETS DO IT AGAIN
"Lets do it again!" This is what my cousin said to me after the concert was over, and I couldn't agree more! I have said this before and I will say it again. It was the most fun I have ever had at a concert! I would see Kenny or Dierks again in a heart beat. If anyone would like to go with me let me know, 'cause I am totally game!
