Semiotics on TV

I got from class last night, and instead of doing something constructive, I ate dinner and watched a little TV. I turned on CSI: NY which is not a show that I generally watch, but it is okay. The concept of the show was a serial killer hiding information in T-shirts. So we got to see the silk screening thing. But the thing that caught my attention the most was when the started talking about semiotics. They said the word and I immediately thought, Larry! So they started talking about symbols and meanings and language. Semiology...I just thought it was so funny to actually hear about it on TV.
