*Hope that sounds as dirty as I meant it to.*
Maybe I am just stressing about everything right now because I am down to my last semester and I am not above telling you how fucking scared I am of that.
Einstein once said: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
Last night was painful, actually, physically painful. How many times can people say the same thing over and over again. Is it so hard to understand that "you" are not seeing the problem from the same point of view that "he" is? People look at things differently, and by God your way could be the right way, it quite possibly is, but not everyone is going to get it the way you do. That is their level. It is the way it is. I was going to have to leave the room if they went any further with it.
ULTIMATELY IT IS A MATTER OF OBJECT VS PROCESS
It's like we were all looking at picture, some of "us" were looking at the picture as a whole, and were contemplating how the parts interacted with one another to make that whole. Others of "us" were only looking at specific points in the picture and were wondering what we were suppose to do with them. Some of us were thinking in terms of the mind, others in terms of the hands. And last night was proof that they do not speak the same language.
If you still don't understand what I am saying, it's okay, just don't ask me again to repeat it, find someone who does understand and see if they are better head/hand translator.
STROKING
This was the only saving grace for last night. We were talking about ego and benefactors (clients to0) and there was an off comment made about all the signs in the building and their purpose being to stroke the patron. We all got a good laugh out of that...some times the truth hurts and sometimes it's just fuckin' funny. It also made me wonder...we all stroke egos...whose ego did I stroke that day...
I was so wound up I came home and put 3 good hours into an assignment thinking it was due today, and at 2am it hit me I was working on a project for the wrong class.
