When it rains, it snows...

Well, the home PC is up to 136149 files, and counting, scanned. How many more files can there be really?

Yes, the 'rents computer has some sort of malware-spyware-virus thingy. And yes that is the technical term for it, that or shit, I haven't decided yet. Anyway, I thought AVG Free would be good for them. It is a reputable program, and they wouldn't have to drop the cash for new protection this year. I have been using at work for almost a year and it does a great job. My parents have it for three weeks and they find the one thing that can get by it. So for my sanity I went out and bought them a security program that is well recognized. And I am waiting for it to finish its scan so that it can tell me there is no problem (cause all the web research I have been doing while the scan has been running has said that this program won't find it). So then I can use the instructions that I found to manually remove it from the system. The joys of PC ownership.

174752 files scanned and counting. But this is really just the capper to date for the week. My hair is still brassy strawberry and brown because I can't find the three hours it is going to take to fix it in my schedule. Nobody is really happy at work cause we are short staffed and stretched thin. Last time I checked SMODCast wasn't new. I haven't finished valentines for anyone, so they are all going to be late (even my online ones :( i hope to be forgiven). Oh, God, Valentines Day...the most made up of holidays that loves to remind me how single I am. If I could sleep through it I would-coma sounds like a fabulous way to spend the day. Thing-A-Day is kicking my ass. I wish I could come up with something other than paper craft for it. Then there is Huntsman on the news playing politician (don't even get me started), the screaming kids and inconsiderate pricks at the grocery store just make me want to fight. And of course all this is magnified like a bajillion times due to PMS. Sigh...and I have to go to dinner tomorrow with the "ladies" as in all the female relatives on my mom's side. It use to be a cool thing we did, now I kind of dread it.

188731 files scanned and counting...it's 11:14pm. I am only working on this til midnight so i hope the scan finishes up soon.

we're short-staffed at MO too... they haven't touched the union workers... instead they're whittling down the employees that actually MAKE the stuff that's making the money.

I think everyone is feeling the stress in life lately - job and otherwise. I can't even bring myself to blog about it. :-P
