Beginning at the End

My hair is wet. I just got out of the shower. I've set the alarm for tomorrow morning. I've got the iPod going and the mellow melody of Dave Loggins "Please Come To Boston" is floating through my ears (followed by Nickelback-interesting shuffle). It's just after midnight, and I can't put this off any longer. "Maybe tomorrow" has been my mantra for the last little while now, but I need to get some of it out before it starts seeping away.

I found out that the sister of a friend has died...I am worried about him...the last email I got from him, he seemed happy, or at least as happy as can be conveyed in an email. This could be such a blow to his "good" state,

I went to see The Time Traveler's Wife. It was one of those rare occasions where the movie was much better than the book. I finished the book a week or so ago. It started out so well...it showed so much promise, and about half way through it just kind of fell apart. The movie kept the steam up though.

I made Sangria this weekend. It turned out pretty good for not knowing what I was doing...not that there is a lot to it. I worried I didn't pick a good wine, but it seems to have worked out.

I went to Johny's house and had dinner. We had a bit of a fire issue with the fire pit, but everyone seems to be okay, and we know what not to do next time. His next door neighbor is selling their home. I would love to buy it. It would be so fun to be neighbors, but I am going to have to start making more money if I want to consider buying a house.

Watched 17 Again, with Johny. ZE is pretty darn cute and it was a pretty good movie all in all.

I am starting a new project at work. Which means...I finished the Lethal Encounters project. I even got an Art Director credit on the back of the DVD cover. I am excited about that. I don't know how much I am really allowed to say on my new project, but I'll say this, it isn't very graphics intensive, but it will be well worth the work in the end :)

Things with That's My Favorite have stalled. We just don't know what to do being that plan A kind of fell through...

Working on version 2.0 of Designopolis.net. There isn't anything live to look at yet, but soon.

I think I am going to St. George next weekend.

My hair is still wet...I need to go to sleep...maybe more tomorrow :)
