...before I pump you so full of rock salt you crap margaritas

As promised, my April update complete with a Supernatural quote as a title :)

*Teach myself to cook.
Hmm...this is starting to make me feel lazy, but no, I did nothing in April for this particular goal.

*Keep a Journal.
Ditto from last weeks post.

*Lose weight.
Well...at the request of steph I have joined the Daily Burn, but I haven't done much past joining. I think I have decided to set monthly goals instead of having one big goal. So May's mini benchmark is going to be to lose 12lbs.

*Try one new thing a month.
I should really make a note when I do something new so I can remember if I did or not. I can't remember if I did something new in April...so I am going to have to say no again...This isn't true. I tried 2 new restaurants: Salt City Burgers, and Vertical Diner. There now I don't feel so bad.

*Build and maintain a personal website and/or web community.
www.amberlynmeier.com is my new portfolio site (it was created from one of the templates I bought). It isn't finished yet, but there is enough content I don't have to be ashamed to have it online.

*Maintain my blogs.
I have made 1 2 blog post since TAD ended...this isn't going so well...

*Do something with That's My Favorite or shut it down.
Complete.

*Create an all encompassing self promotion package.
Not really...I have been working on a website (see address above), but it is far from all encompassing...

*24 books in 12 months.
I read a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future by Michael J. Fox. It was a quickie, and pretty cute. I also started (not completed) Angelology

*Produce "fine art" to sell.
Nope...

*Find a stable, healthy, relationship.
Hard to do when your a hermit...

The Big Decision
Buying a dwelling...that is a good generic term for it...it is still on the books, but things aren't going too well...I haven't been able to put any extra money away. And now it is depressing to even look at the housing market because prices are going up :( Last month I started having serious doubts about continuing this particular path, but I can't make myself put it away yet.
