My attitude is based on how you treat me.

Are you a nice person?

• A person who is nice to you, but not nice to the waiter, is not a nice person. Lets take the title a step further. A person who is nice to you, but not nice to the people around you, is not a nice person.
  
• A person who claims to be your friend, who nice to the people around you, but is not nice to you is not only not your friend, but not a nice person.
• It is no secret that we put up with our friends when they are at their worst because we know them at their best, but if you can not remember your friend at their best then chances are they are not a nice person.
• A person who is mean to you and tells you it is for you own good, is not only a mean person, but this person knows they are mean and takes pleasure in it.
• A person who uses passion as an excuse to be mean is simply arrogant and is cheapening that which he or she is claiming to be passionate about.
• A person who shows great charity to the world, but chooses to with hold it from an individual for no reason is not a nice person.

Do not mistake my nicety, or polite behavior, as weakness or acceptance. Understand that I simply have a higher tolerance for offensiveness than you would like me to.

Frankly, I have always been a bitch, it just that I don't wear it as a badge of honor, and if you haven't seen it come out in me it simply means you have not pushed hard enough yet, or you aren't worth the bother.

Why have I felt the need to bullet all these thoughts? I find myself in a dilemma and I am trying to clarify my position. Can I really call myself a nice person? I think so. Do I have the right to think that he is not a nice person? And have I put up with it for so long because of my fear of offending? I still don't know what to do....
