Great Paper

I was elated when he said that I had a written a great paper. Of course, thinking about it now, what else could he say. He was handing it back to me.

I drove a 120 miles in twos to pick up this paper. I was picking it up under the notion that I was getting a critique. Sadly, this was not the case. There were simply editing notes in it, reference problems, no year notations, etc. So this begs the question, who looks more foolish? Me, for making the trek twice, for a paper when what I wanted was a critique. Or him for telling me he would give me a critique and then not doing it...I guess it doesn't matter :)
