Cruising on the Golden Princess

I am sitting at the Explorers Bar on Deck 7 of the Golden Princess on my to Puerta Vallerta I just took the best most cliché boat picture I could have, and I don’t have my card reader with me so I can’t load it for you. Things all in all are going smashingly.
The flight from SLC to LA was a little bumpy and SL International pretty much sucked. But we made it in one piece. We got to LA and were greeted with this lovely weather.

It was as cold and overcast (almost raining) in LA as it was in SLC. But I was on a boat.
This boat.

In the water, so that made up for it. Port of Los Angeles is an industrial port so the scenery was much to look at either but I still didn’t care. We wandered to boat for a bit. I still can’t tell forward from aft or port to starboard, but I think I know where most everything is. The important stuff anyway. I still haven’t found the place to change dollars to pesos, but I have a day or two before I have worry about that.

I am having blast, hanging out, soaking up a little sun, and enjoying the shows, but it is nice to have a few minutes to myself and not have to worry about what everyone is doing or wanting to do.

I am loading a few more pictures on flickr if anyone wants to check them out.
The link is here http://www.flickr.com/photos/54332066@N00/

I am off to have a more fun. Tonight is formal night for dinner, I will try to get pictures.
Oo and maybe pics of the teeny tiny state room too…or even a video.
