I always hear people say: "You shouldn't watch TV in bed. You shouldn't read in bed. You shouldn't work in bed." I guess the only thing "they" want you to do in bed is sleep, and occasionally have sex. Though I would assume if if it's going to take more then 5 minutes you shouldn't have sex in bed either.Needless to say those are "guidelines" I don't follow. Just about the time I wanted to crawl into bed last night to actually sleep I remembered that this is what my bed looked like. I had spent most of the day working on my portfolio there.
Oh god, my damn portfolio. I do miss the days of having a team of people to bounce ideas off of. I realize part of my problem in hating my damn folio is that I have been staring at it non stop for over a week. That added to the strong urge to have it done and not being nearly as close as I thought I was makes me despise it. I have already decided that as soon as I get it up and running I going I am going to start over and do something new. Something more simple, back end and front end, and something I like more. But right now I am too deep into it to think of starting over, and I really need a portfolio now! But back to what I was saying. I miss working with a group of people. I never really did too many "group" projects but there was always someone there to talk to about a design (I am talking school by the way) someone to bounce ideas off of, get info from and help out. I miss that atmo. I really think it would help me right now. I would feel better about what I am doing.
I took almost all of today off. I tried a couple of things but nothing really viable came of it. I shouldn't have even bothered. I should have just played instead of worrying about it. Anyway I saw this on steph's blog and thought I would give it try. I am surprised how many countries I could come up with. I would have gotten a couple more, the program is pretty picky about spelling and abbreviations.
Okay I am off to watch the Unit. :( I hope they bring it next season)
