Squeezing just a little tighter...

I love Utah for so many reasons, but when I find things like this out I just get so mad. We have passed a new liquor law (as if our liquor laws aren't tight already). Grocery and convenience stores are no longer allowed to sell beer coolers (drinks not containers). No more Mike's Hard Lemonade or Smirnoff Ice or Bacardi Silvers or Bartles and James. You have to go to the liquor store to get these now. Not to mention that the state is now requiring a new label on these drinks stating alcohol content and other stuff that I was too upset to pay attention to. Some of the drink manufacturers have said they will simply stop selling to Utah over paying the expense of printing new packaging for one state.
We are the ONLY state in the country that has this fruity drink restriction...
So here is the rub...the state invokes this law that REQUIRES you to go TO THE STATE (as in state liquor store) if you want this product...that just seems a little wrong...
You can read more about it here.

Actually, even though I don't drink, this pisses ME off too! The state's regulations are in-freaking-sane.
