Weekend Cooking Adventure


I'm not much of a cook...I'm not really even a baker, but I have been craving Biaggi's Creme Brulee for weeks now. My problem is that I haven't been able to find anybody to go to dinner with me there so I could get some. This caused me to have an amazing idea. Why don't I just make it myself. I got online, found a recipe, bought all the cookery I needed, and gave it a go. All things considered it turned out alright. I should have cooked my cream a little longer. And when I went to get the torch to crisp the sugar on top I couldn't find it. The part that was suppose to be the most fun and I couldn't find the appropriate "fire" do it. So I had to stick them under the broiler instead. It tasted the same, but you can see from the picture that the sugar in the center didn't glaze the way it was suppose to...I'll definitely try it again though.
