I hate needing money.

It seems like all I ever do when I "blog" is bitch, but that isn't going to stop me from doing it some more. My check didn't come today. This is just slightly more than upsetting to me. Do you know how it is when you need money, and you know you have money coming, but it just never seems to show up, and when you ask about it, you are told to wait a little longer. Ugh!!! This is the story of my life. I think all mail services have it out for me.

I applied for financial aid through school, I do admit that I was late with applying (I did it the first week of school), but still...Anyway to cut out all the boring form filling and mailing and waiting for approval...the school got my loan funds on the the 10th of October, and their system states that my check was mailed the next day (aka 11th). The problem is that it is now the 19th and I still have not received it. I mean Ogden (where school is) is only about 30 miles from Woods Cross (where home is). Can it really take this long for a piece of mail to travel 30 miles?

So I went to talk to the cashiers office. They verified my address and the date the check was sent. They told me that if I didn't get the check by the end of this week to come back and they would see what they could do!!! Do they not understand that I have bills to pay. I don't want this money. I need this money. I don't want my phone to be shut off. It infuriates me to be expecting something and then not get it!!! :( It's just like that damn book! Oh wait...I haven't told you about my book. I have to go to work right now, but will definitely tell you about my book later. Anything to stop people from shopping at Overstock.com.
