But if you can't talk to your friends who can you talk to, right?
So on the news last night there was a short news story about a quiz online that would match you to the presidential candidate you should vote for, based on your political views. Now let me say, this quiz didn't change my mind about who I am planning to vote for (but there is still a year to go isn't there). I am fascinated by how this quiz tabulates the score. I mean, on the first one I took (here) my top four matches all scored the same. Of those, the top three all have the same pros and cons, so how did the quiz choose which one to rank first?
Then also notice that I share the same number of pros and cons as Mit Romney, but he is ten points away from being in a top spot. Now I do realize that in the quiz each question is weighted by how important you think it is, but I still find it fascinating.
So the quiz that was mentioned on the news was actually a derivative of another quiz (here). So I had to take that one as well. And the top spots came up the same. Things were muddled in the middle a bit, and the scoring is different from top to bottom, but I think it is still interesting.
So my top five from both tests were in the same order. It goes: Obama, Clinton, Edwards, Biden and Dodd. If you would like to see my complete lists from both tests just go here and here.
